WELCOME
Navigating the high seas of the global economy can be tough. I can help. I could be a harbor pilot who advises the captain as your ship approaches unfamiliar shores. I may be a relief captain who runs the place until a new leader takes over. I could be a bosun signed on to make repairs to the ship or an extra mate brought on to help during an ocean crossing. My goal in founding High Seas Consulting LLC was to the share skills, experience and contacts developed over a 30 year career in international business to help mission and growth driven leaders achieve their goals. ​

Before launching High Seas, I spent sixteen years in business development and strategy roles at Cisco. Most recently, I was the Senior Director running the Americas business for Cisco’s renowned Country Digital Acceleration program. CDA is Cisco’s flagship initiative aimed at driving business growth while making real the company’s purpose to power an inclusive future for all.
Prior to joining Cisco, I was at at the US Trade and Development Agency, serving as Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe, Regional Director for sub-Saharan Africa and Director of Congressional Relations. I have also worked on Capitol Hill, for a state legislature in the US and as a volunteer with the US Peace Corps.
In service to training the next generation of great international leaders, I also teach International Business at the George Mason University.
